Does anyone know if you can ship a container to Australia yourself rather than using a removal company?We are moving out to South Australia next month and are not planning on taking a huge amount of items, but even the items we are taking some of the removal companies want large sums of money costing more than three times the value of our belongings! most of the items we are taking are to just give the children something familiar from home to help them settle in to there new surroundings.See More

HiHas anyone had or know of, had their skills assessed by the TRA without having any formal qualifications?My husband is currantly waiting the results of his assessment as a drainer. He has no formal qualification but has work in the inderstry for 15 years. Hi,. I am a Plasterer/general builder and just starting the application process and  have been advised that I will need a Gold Card Building License to work in Australia .
