My dad is an Australian citizen living in NSW (he became a citizen after I was born so I didn't automatically get citizenship) and my daughters father is an NZ citizen with permanent residency in Australia (residing in Brisbane). We're not together but my daughter and I want to move to Brisbane so that she can have a relationship with him and her half sister.
Does anyone have any experience of trying to get a visa (based on family sponsorship) in similar circumstance? Per my other discussion, it looks like I may well be eligible for a skilled worker 190 visa for Victoria but not in Queensland (where we would like to live - hence investigating the 'family' connection route.
Any information gratefully received.
Thanks,
Fliss.
