sorry didnt reply till now, lots been happening.moved house, same area.Beautiful Denmark SW Australia. good luck with your dog, they are an important part of the family arent they? Queensland is beautiful but the milder climate of the SW of Australia is lovely.work is a little scarse though, a lot of people have their own businesses and work from home.when you organise a tradesman it is almost always on "Denmark Time" this is an excepted way of life and l luv it.

Hiya
There are to many nice places in and around Brisbane , thats what makes it hard to choose ! Where you will be working will play a part along with how long you wish to commute, would that be private or public transport, do you want suburbia or semi rural living, how far from the coast, how close to schools and shops etc etc.
I honestly think the only way you can really tell if an area is right for you is by driving, driving and driving some more.

Hi there, Yeah I have a job at Greenslopes private hospital, so I need to be reasonably close, however we will be buying a car as soon as possible. The thing is the rent is quite high for the greenslopes area. At the moment I am just waiting for one last piece of documentation to arrive in oz, then we can process our visa's. The hospital has arranged their own immigration agent and he has all our paperwork so as soon as this last piece gets there we should be ready to get on our way. what about you do you live in Brisbane? I'm really new to all this blogging and am just fumbling around this site trying to get to grips I'm sure I'll get the hang of it at some point. thanks for responding to my blog, all tips gratefully recieved.
