I am waiting my 176 state sponsorship to come through, it has been six months since we applied so should be up be any day now then it shuffles us up the queue a bit but a long wait from there particularly as I am a trade applicant (Electrician Special Class). Looks like you will be there soon? very jealous, we hoped to make the move in 2011 after a visa validation visit/ holiday/ recce next summer but who knows when now.
Good luck and sorry for the long delay in replying, we are in Rainham, so not far really

Hi, i don't have a visa yet and have never been, just done lots of research on internet and speaking to friends out there. Im a quantity surveyor and estimator, hope your move goes well.
Hi Catherine, yes we are busy deciding on what to do what to take, etc. etc. it's very stressful. We also have the dogs to sort out + both kids are not coming. One at uni is OK as has a house, etc. but other one is going to live with her boyfriend, we have sort of pushed them into it really as she lives with us so hope it works out OK. We have a planned move out date of 2nd week in Jan if all goes through ok and then plan to leave UK at the end of Jan. It's so exciting but really scarey and there is so much to think about, hope we manage to get through it all!
Hi Lesley. Haven't heard from you in a while (suppose you are busy with the house sale and getting ready for Australia!!). Just think you will be able to sit on the beach in January and not be freezing cold!!!!
Hi lesley thanks for adding me, well we have just sent everything in to the migrant agent and are awaiting my hubbys skill assessment but we need a sponsor i have my aunt who is willing but it needs to be a employer and its really hard, how far are you? xx
