Thinking of Making the Move!!!
Hi there all!
Thinking of moving the family Down Under! and would appreciate any tips, help and advice please! We are a family of five and have just started looking into things seriously but don't really know where to start!

Since returning from Oz I have been flat out taking calls from people wanting to migrate to Australia. Sorry for the delay in replying but considering the development in the criteria for migration it is perhaps not such a bad thing. Today (16th March 2009) the immigration minister announced a few more hurdles to migration. We help UK skilled people relocate to Australia. This includes help in finding a potential employer (just to confirm we do it not you) we are then able to help with the visa though our in house migration agent; or we will work with your migration agent. Once you get your visa we work on getting you to Australia and meeting you off the plane. If you would like more details email me on australia@tonymooney.biz. Best wishes

Life is hectic with 3 children and I've only just got the chance to reply!. We are with The Emigration Group. It was very expensive but worth it I think. It took ages to collect all the paperwork but they fill out all the forms and I think the hard work is all over now and we just have to wait and see if I pass the skills assessment. They assessed us and said that we 'should' in theory get in but they make no promises. It's nice to know that they have covered all bases and that we just have to collect the information that they ask for. I don't think we could have done it on our own and still work and look after the kids. We have done lots of research on line and we like the look of the South of Adelaide. McLaren Vale/Moana/Seaford etc..
How far along in the process are you now? Would love to keep in touch. It's great to know that other people are doing the same things as I haven't told work yet and it still feels like a bit of a secret.

- Hi Sally! Research, research, research!!! We have been going through the process now since July 2007 and it's been a long time but I have found it important to pace everything especially the finances! and not to rush into things. We have found our agent priceless as the documents for the TRA that my husband had to do and the whole applying for the right visa would have been near impossible without their help. good luck with everything, clare
