Got there in the end !

Haven't been on the site for a few months because we been so busy with all our emigration plans...we are starting our adventure in 11 days, staying in Dubai for 5 days then heading for Brisbane. As you no doubt can tell, we are… Continue

Hi we are heading out to Perth at the end of November and are desperately looking for temporary furnished accommodation south of Perth. This will give us the chance to then do a rekki to decide exactly which area to make our permanent move to.  We were granted our visa's last week.   There is only the 2 of us so doesn't have to be a large property.  We have been on various sites and forums etc.  Is there anyone who has gone through this recently that can point us in the right direction?  Thanks

One Year On

Today is the first anniversary of my departure from the UK; it seems like yesterday there was all the hassle and stress of packing up our life in the UK before we took a month long holiday in the US on our way to Perth.

I don't miss the UK at all, just people, and with Skype and FaceBook and the like, the distance really isn't that far.

I landed a fantastic job a couple of months after arriving, I have a beautiful house close to the beach with my own pool and…
