Hi Caroline - How is your applicaton going, or are you there already?!! Looking at your dates you should be by now. We have been waiting for 3months now..... We know it is going to be a long wait, perhaps longer that your 7 months.... I though the paperwork was difficult, my boss had to write about 5 different letters until my agent liked it.... I was close to giving up then. Were the medical/police checks a quick process? How soon did you get the visa?

7 months before they even started processing it....! We hate this waiting game. You sound like your'e almost there. Good luck. Keep in touch and let us know when you get that Visa

hi kim - yeah the teaching australia assessment was easy enough (although getting all the right paperwork ready and copies certified beforehand took me a while to collate) it took 3 months to hear back and get my skills certificate and then i was able to send off my skilled migration visa application straight away and it took 7 months before they even started processing it - that was much less straight forward but now i am just waiting to hear back as have passed my medical and police checks and i am hoping there are no more hoops left to jump through...let me know if you want to know anything else...

Hi Caroline - was your assessment straightforward? We are just waiting now for the results now and hoping they don't ask for any more paperwork. What stage are you at now...?
