Get Me Downunder

The Adventure Starts Here

This is a movie version of the famous Roger's Rangers raid on the Abenaki woodland Indian village during the mid 18th centry in the New World. These Rangers were carrying very little food supplies, so as to travel light and fast on foot. They planned to take corn from the Abenaki supply houses, but there was very little food there, so these Rangers almost starved on their return journey.
You must remember, that at this time there were no Americans in the New World, other than the native Indians. This war was about the French and the English fighting for posession of North America.
PS. The movie clothing is not correct, the British Rangers did not wear green buckskins, nor did they carry late 18th century French muskets!
