I am looking into emigrating to Sydney. However, I have a question which hopefully you may be able to assist me with.
Currently I am working for a national housing developer who is part of a national construction business, I have been offered a transfer to the construction side. From your point of view and the Australian market dictating, would it be more beneficial as a quantity surveyor seeking employment in Sydney if I had a main contracting background in surveying or just as beneficial with a development background?
Also, currently, is there a demand for qs's in and around the Sydney area?
