Hi everyone..... Myself and my family recently validated our 176 family sponsored visa to Melbourne. The visa label advises we can have multiple travel to and from Australia until December 14.... But I have been told by an Australian Citizen, that we still are required to complete a residents return visa ( if this is the case, we should have completed it in Australia prior to leaving!!!). Any information would be extremely grateful. Catherine

I am a property manager here in Avalon Sydney.
Avalon Beach is just down the road where Home and Away is filmed, if that helps.
I specialize in executive rental homes unfurnished and furnished as well as traditional family homes.
Avalon is east of Clareville, situated between Whale beach to the north and Bilgola to the south. Avalon is home to the few remaining koalas able to survive in an increasingly urban environment, a reminder that there once… Continue

Well, I havent been on the site for some time now... mainly due to the fact that myself and family have given up all hope of having our visa granted... 2 years today we submitted our 176 and still we are waiting!! Our agents no longer keep in touch (they have had our money so I am sure we are a forgotten cause!) my endless emails to them are just met with statements that they do not know and therefore cannot comment on when we may get granted a visa... so we are left in the dark. However one… Continue

Last year we made the family decission to emigrate, we have two children 13 &16. They both agreed and the house went up for sale on the 18th December and SOLD it on the 19th December.
We processed our EOI but found out that things had changed and we needed a job offer to go. So we joined an agent and gave them a date of 4th July to start looking for a job (this was because my daughter was sitting her… Continue

I am currently in the system having lodged a 176 State Sponsored Application for WA.
With the new election being called does this mean that all pending SMP (state migration plan),will be left until post election.
Its just that if my occupation is on WA SMP my case would be priority 2, hopefully allowing for a quicker resolution.
So has the election scuppered peoples dreams, further for now?
