New Zealand: Online visa applications to be only option

Some foreigners should be able to apply for New Zealand visas online this year and the online channel will eventually become the only option, Immigration Minister Michael Woodhouse says.

NZ's Labour Department is spending $80 million on a new computer system, the Immigration Global Management System (IGMS), which will let it centralise decision-making and offer more online services.

our journey

Well a couple of interviews later and we both have secured nursing jobs, now waiting on the AHPRA to be completed and then we can process the visa.  In the meantime we have had bloods taken to check our serous levels to see what boosters we need, due to the persusis virus outbreak and pregnant mothers being the key candidates for vaccination we have been told by our health board we will need to pay for this vaccine. More foreign workers needed in Western Australia

An extensive report has backed business claims that more migrant workers are needed in Western Australia.
