Get Me Downunder

The Adventure Starts Here

santa, delivered my little boy his much wanted sea monkeys AKA triops, does anyone know if we can take them into Australia with us obviously we wouldn't open them up, they come in like a powder form then you add water then watch them grow.

Thanks Aoife, maybe I will take them, I could carry the sachet with the instructions on me and declare them, if they take them off me then at least we know we can buy them there also. thankyou Kelly

Hi kelly

According to the website below, importers need a special permit to import sea monkeys. Not sure if they'll take them off you or not. You can actually buy sea monkeys in the shops here though.

Hope this helps.

Hi
I don't think you will be able to bring them into Australia, but a few of the bigger dept stores over here stock them as i bought some for my children last year. Another option is to bring the container/tank and bits then purchase some replacement eggs and food on line.
Silly Santa wouldn't have realised in rush to get around all the children !!
