Get Me Downunder

The Adventure Starts Here

hi everyone
want to live in western oz.
hoping for a bit of advice.
i have got my skills assessed by TRA (mechanical fitter), a month away from state sponsorship from WA (hopefully). someone has just offered the asking price on my house, we can move in with my parents no problem. this would mean we could save a packet £1500 a month easy, because we applied for a 176 visa and the times have gone through the roof i dont know what would be best???
1.move out, save and wait. pray for a modl/csl change with state sponsorship.
2.move out save and try to get a job over there and go employer sponsored which is the fastest route now??
if we have no house i am thinkin then there is nothing stopping us to get out there and go for it, we have 2 kids 3 and 7, so thinkin about them & upsetting them.
what would you do??
any advice would be great.

I can't really help you to make your decision here, however I do understand your predicament. Moving out and saving money seems like a win-win situation all-round so I would choose that if it were me. I would probably want to play it safe and focus on employer sponsorship as well as apply for the visa. You may find this website useful - it is specifically for finding job sponsorship in Australia.

I hope that helps!

There is a simple rule in life and migrating to Australia ... you can only play the hand you a\re dealt... Your potential problem is hoping something will work in your favour. There will be about 120,ooo people in the next three years wanting to go to Australia as you do. The only way to get a result is to take control of the situation. I am currently finding employer sponsors for my clients, many of them are in your situation. I would be interested in helping you if you were able to move quickly once a job has been found (3/4 months) If you want an initial chat call me on 01 525 8 88 215. Tony Mooney
