Get Me Downunder

The Adventure Starts Here

The words we've been waiting to hear............PR Visa Approved!!

HI Everyone,

I know many of you have heard my story of our 9 year battle to get to Oz, But we have finally had our dreams come true!!! On 6th July '11 we were granted our permanent residency indefinitely visa and our 9 yr wait is finally over......yippeeeee!!!  I am just in the process of sorting out my nursing registration in Oz and the house will be going up for sale in the next few weeks.  Excited just isn't a good enough word to explain how we feel.  Hopefully we will be moving out there in the new year (depending when house sells) and starting our new life in Adelaide.

Good luck to all of you either just beginning the process...or....actually in the process of obtaining your visa.  All I can say is persevere and NEVER GIVE UP...I certainly didn't and all the hard work has now paid off!!!

Looking forward to our NEW LIFE DOWN UNDER!!!!

Hi David,

Thanks, the girls are excited too! Our eldest was always in favour for going and the youngest had her ups and downs with it, but over the past 6months or so the youngest is looking forward to going too now, which i'm glad about.

Can't wait to get everything sorted and go!

How's everything your end?
